Thanks to my new Amy Butler In Stitches pattern book (thanks Mom!), I was able to make my very first bag, in about an hour. Although someone has already claimed it for his basketball and cars (see pics below), now that I know how to make them, it shouldn't be long before I make another.

Who knew? I can sew...
So I finally broked down and got the 4 year old brand new sewing machine out of the basement. Blowing off the dust, I realized I might just be able to figure out how to use this thing. Sure enough...it's actually kind of fun :)

I LOVE the bag!! You're so talented! I bought the Amy Butler book as well but it was to look at the pictures and then pay someone else to make the stuff inside. LOL!
