Wow...it's been a while since our last post!

And Mason's been busy. We got our first real snowstorm of the year (practically of the season) last thursday. It was a crazy, blizzardy day in which most of the businesses around town closed and the schools created massive chaos by closing in the middle of the day. By the time the snow settled, I think we received around a foot of snow. And in true, Colorado fashion...the sun was out and HOT the next day. So Mason and I bundled up (a little too much for how warm it was) and went out to play in the fluffy white stuff. He wasn't quite sure what to think of it - walking in the stuff wasn't that fun for him....but eating it was! The kid clearly takes after his mother. I was this close to getting out the snowcone flavorings and two spoons :) Instead, I made him, not one, but two slides down our front hill. He cried going down both of them; I considered my work as a parent a success. We even built a snowman, but even he couldn't last past Saturday in the heat. Gotta get your snow kicks in quick around here.
